Bob’s Bus is a 1978 Eagle that is being converted into a class A motor coach and mobile studio. She spent most of her life as a prison bus for the Arizona Border Patrol. We bought it from Bart Grabhorn of Grabhorn Enterprises http://www.grabhorn.com. in Portland, and drove her to our home in Houston. We stripped the interior and made a temporary move up to Minnesota. There we cut off the end-caps, removed the skin, cut her in half and raised the roof 8.5 inches, re-skinned it, put in new windshields and did some restoration work. In June of 04 we drove her down to our new home in Nashville. The construction now continues… at a much slower pace.
